Embrace your weaknesses & struggles2 Corinthians 12:9-10 (NLT)

The past week was pretty rough and by the time Friday rolled around I was left feeling emotionally, physically and mentally exhausted. I defiantly feel like I let the enemy win this past week by getting overwhelmed and stressed over the little things. Sometimes it can be so hard to hear Gods voice in the midst of everything going on around me. My weaknesses keep coming back. Every time I think I am on the right track and doing good, BOOM the enemy strikes.

I was reading my bible earlier this past week and the story about Paul really spoke to me. Here he is with a thorn in his flesh sent to torment him and he is pleading for it to be taken away. Yet God says His grace is enough. He says that His kindness, love, goodness and favor, etc is enough.

Isn’t isn’t beautiful thing that God is more than enough for us? That in the midst of our struggles and hardships the Lord is more than enough. I know it can become so hard to remember to call upon His name in moments that seem utterly overwhelming. Instead of being ashamed of the struggles you go through and putting on this persona that you have no issues… Rise up. Rise up, girlfriend. Rise up in the Lords love. When the enemy comes to attack you again and again, don’t let him win. And even if he does win, know that God wins the ultimate battle, the battle within your heart. Regardless if you can’t see it the Lord is working in you. The weaknesses, struggles, and issues we have… don’t have to necessarily be a “problem.” How about we see them as a strength? And we conquer whatever the enemy throws at us by remembering God and remembering how He is right here with us even in the midst of our battles.

Philippians 2:13 (NLT) For God is working in you, giving you the desire and the power to do what pleases him.
