Halloween is among us. A holiday were you can dress up as whatever/whoever you want. A night spent hanging out with friends eating candy and drinking possibly. (One will never say) haha.

Halloween it’s such a fun holiday because it’s night you can be something or someone different from normal (at least on the outside). Lately I’ve been feeling like I am living in Halloween. What I mean by that is I feel fake. I feel freaking fake. Fake is not genuine. So in other words fake is something that is false. Lately I’ve been feeling not true.

Ever have that moment when you are living your life and you feel like you know exactly who you are and what you believe in? Then something comes along and just completely opens up your eyes it makes you question yourself and your beliefs? Well I hope so cause y’all I stay truthful. Life can show us things about ourselves we didn’t even know.

But the truth is I know who I am and I know what I believe in. And I think the enemy comes into our lives at times and makes us question ourselves and our beliefs. And I think God allows it to happen. Because if we truly believe in God and we truly know who we are then those moments of doubt and confusion don’t matter because we know that they are from the enemy. As humans we don’t have to be perfect and I think a lot of times we try so hard to be perfect and live a certain way that we miss out on opportunities and chances we may never get again.

So if you take anything away from this post, it’s that don’t think of yourself as fake. You are not fake. You know who you are and you know what you believe in. Life doesn’t have to be perfect. Life is going to have ups and downs and it’s going to show you what you’re made of. All the doubts, all the confusion, everything is to teach you that you are not what anyone says you are, you’re not even what you say you are. At the end of the day you are who God says you are. He says are cherished, loved, important, unique, FREE, etc. So put down the damn expectations, let go of having to be perfect because you are loved. You’re not fake. Satan’s lies are fake remember that.
